Did you know that every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood? That’s why we give blood and why we support the American Red Cross’ Blood Donation Services.
Blood is the most precious gift that anyone can give to another person — the gift of life. A decision to donate your blood can save a life, or even several if your blood is separated into its components — red cells, platelets, and plasma — which can be used individually for patients with specific conditions.
The American Red Cross makes it easy, with several opportunities in your local community.
Knots of Love
Over the past year, my wife Stephanie has rediscovered crocheting as a fun and enjoyable hobby. She’s now excited that she can apply these newfound skills towards helping others find a small piece of comfort.
About Knots of Love: Do you knit or crochet? Do you watch Netflix on a nightly basis? Combine the two activities through habit stacking to make a kind gift for another.
Knots of Love is a network of passionate and caring volunteers who tirelessly make and ship handmade creations to fragile newborns, veterans, and patients in need. These caps and blankets serve as a constant reminder to the patient and their loved ones that they are not alone.
By distributing these items free of charge to hospitals and treatment centers throughout the country, they make a difference by providing warmth, comfort, and dignity.

Affinity Financial helps clients care for the needs and future aspirations of their children and grandchildren.
Miracles For Kids helps families in need care for their critically-ill children. We support this organization because they help families with food, clothing, shelter and more—so that they can focus on the care their child needs.

National Forest Foundation
We love nature, and during our hikes we often enjoy pointing out the many forms of wildlife that call the trees home.
America is fortunate to have stunning wildlife diversity within our National Forests. From urbanites in big cities to families in rural towns, we are all connected to our forests.
But Our Forests Need Help.
For each $1 donation to the National Forest Foundation, one native tree is planted on a National Forest in need of reforestation. Each donation helps us get closer to the 50 million tree goal.
